When you are thinking about your color scheme for your Country Porch, you may want to know what combinations work well with the feel and look of a Country Porch. Although you are certainly not limited by traditional country color schemes, these are some that work well within this effect.

French Country Colors

These are traditionally the warmest on the color spectrum. Mauves, beiges and creams paired with greys then accented with rose, yellow or pale orange. Or turn the combination around in any fashion you prefer. This is all about your taste in color.

Classic Country Colors

The classic colors of a country look are usually in the pale blues, with whites and greens added in. You don’t have to be talking pure white, either. An egg-shell works very well to pair with blues and greens. The more true the colors, the more crisp the look is.

Cottage Country Colors

This combination is usually where you find the reds and pinks. Always more muted colors so you will be looking for pale or pastel colors. Again combine them with white or cream or even pale yellows. The paler your lightest color is the more muted the effect will be. But, a pure white will set off the look of your reds and pinks. By the way, lavender makes a great accent in the Cottage Country Colors as well.

This, of course, is not an exhaustive list of color combinations that you can use to create a Country Porch. It’s more of a guideline to help you get started choosing your own color scheme.
